I delight to see what my glass does as I am perhaps, making other plans. And then working with that spontaneous glass until a light forms in my eyes and a smile across my lips. My imagination is driven by everyday things and situations - but with a humorous twist.
I find glass to be alive and to have a lift. As heated, glass moves, flows and combines. I love exploring the avenues of surface design and decoration. But I also love making little windows into the glass so you can see exciting things happening inside. I want to stimulate your curiosity and when you understand I can see a light go on in your eyes. That's when I know I've connected with your mind and your imagination.
Del started with about 20 years of experience in metal smiting - making gold and silver jewelry for family and friends. Jeni, ex-flower child with a design degree, started with years of painting and clay work.
Del and Jeni work in a small studio behind their home in Gig Harbor, WA. They are kept company by their small dog, Mikey and cats, Mitzy and Moses. There is a lot of love and laughter in that little studio and a lot of love and laughter in each piece of work we create for you.
